Rent it Furnished Realty Adopts a Family for the Holidays
This holiday season, Rent it Furnished Realty is participating in the Adopt-A-Family Program at The Salvation Army. We have been matched up with a single mother who has a 2-year-old daughter and two sons, aged 13 and 10. They live in the Fraserview neighbourhood of southeast Vancouver.
Over the course of the next week, the staff at Rent it Furnished will purchase food and gift items for this low-income family, providing them with groceries for a full turkey dinner and a personalized gift for each family member. If you are interested in contributing to our holiday hamper for this single mother and her 3 young children, please contact us at 604-628-3457, or come by our office to drop off a non-perishable food item.
On Monday, December 19th, we will personally assemble and deliver the hamper to our adopted family. This will no doubt be a very rewarding experience for all of us here at Rent it Furnished Realty.
Last year, The Salvation Army was able to help over 600 local families through the Adopt-A-Family Program. We are proud to be serving as a company sponsor to help one of these families this season. Happy holidays!
