Striking through the heart of Downtown Ottawa is Bank Street, featuring upscale studios, apartments and condos.

Otherwise known as Highway 31, Bank Street is one of the longest streets in Ottawa, starting near the foot of Parliament Hill and stretching all the way to the city limits. The Downtown section is a commercial hub with an abundance of restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs. This lively neighbourhood is a draw for the city’s young professionals, and is also home to Ottawa’s first official gay village.
