Known as the heart of Little Italy, Preston Street runs through the middle of this ‘hood, from Albert Street in the north to Carling Street in the south.

Otherwise known as Corso Italia, Preston Street is the backbone of this neighbourhood, which was historically home to Ottawa’s Italian population. Nowadays the area has a diverse mix of residents, although is still renowned for its Italian heritage, evident by the many award-winning Italian restaurants which line its streets. With some of the best bike paths in the city and an energetic community atmosphere, you’ll find a mix of old and new housing, including detached family homes, condos and townhouses.
