The Merchandise Lofts

Found by Dundas and Yonge at 155 Dalhousie Street, construction on the Merchandise Building began in 1910 and continued through 1949 with the final conversion into a residential building being completed in 2000. This 1,000,000 square foot building originally designed by Max Dunning has been home to many companies from Simpson’s department store to Sears.
