Mountain playground for the outdoorsy

North Vancouver is a community located on the waterfront north of the Burrard Inlet, situated at the base of the North Shore Mountains. Known for its many hiking trails, forests, and lakes, North Van is a highly active outdoor community. Enjoy going for a hike at Lynn Valley Canyon, grab a doughnut from Honey’s Doughnuts in Deep Cove, or go tubing on Mount Seymour in the winter. North Vancouver is home to several high schools, elementary schools, and has a high population of families. The area is mainly made up of detached homes, duplexes, and apartment buildings, and has recently begun to transform with the development of new high-rise apartments.
