Also known as “Little Saigon” for its abundance of Vietnamese mom-and-pop shops and restaurants, Kensington Cedar-Cottage borders Fraser Street to Nanaimo Street, from West Broadway down to 41st Avenue.
The residents are younger and more diverse than the rest of the city, and is popular with young professionals and families who moved east to more affordable housing. Housing in the area mainly consists of multi- and single-family homes, in addition to a growing development of well-designed townhomes, laneway houses, and high-rise condos.
