Dubbed as the “home of the working man”, Strathcona includes part of Vancouver`s Chinatown, and the Downtown Eastside.

Strathcona is home to reasonably priced condos and apartments, where young, working class families and urban professionals reside in a mix of older restored, and new high and low rise complexes with widely varying prices. Strathcona is also one of Vancouver’s largely multicultural communities. A variety of ethnic restaurants, seafood markets, and fresh produce stores can be found up Main Street. Strathcona is home to several Chinese heritage sites, several local parks, cultured bars and clubs. Vancouver Flea Market and Pacific Central Station are also in the area.
